More about me.

I spent over a decade doing elimination diets, taking supplements and reading all the things to find the ‘answer’ to my health concerns. While these experiences were valuable and are what brought me to this work, I have since learned to look beyond what I put into my body. My mindset, my nervous system, my habits and my beliefs all play their part in my wellbeing. I am still a work in progress but every day I feel more like my true self. I can’t wait to hear your story!

An Introduction to Menopause for Health Coaches Certified, MyMT

  • We start with a 20 minute FREE discovery call. Here we will go over what is challenging you and see if we are a good fit. There is no obligation to move forward if you don’t feel the vibe.

    Next we will schedule an intake session and I will send you some forms to fill out beforehand. Having some general background helps focus the session and ensures I don’t miss any key information.

    The intake session is your time to tell your story. Share whatever feels relevant and comfortable for you. Together we will start to shape your healing plan, setting an overarching goal and the necessary skills, behaviors and awarenesses needed to get you there. We will set the timeline to achieve this goal, usually 3 months at the start.

    From then on we will meet weekly to review how things are going and adjust or set new goals. At the end of the initial contract period we will assess our progress and either set a new goal, move into a maintenance program or end our work together if you feel complete.

  • We start with what feels the most important to you. I have supported clients with a wide range of health concerns, from complex chronic illness to more personal growth related desires, and the process is more or less the same. We figure out what you want, what is getting in the way, and how to create space to allow change to happen. 

    Many people think working with a health coach is about accountability. While that can be an aspect of our relationship, most of what we do together is creative problem solving. My favorite thing is to figure out why you’re not doing something that you know would make you feel better. We experiment with different approaches until we find the way to make the habit stick. 

    I am not a doctor or a therapist but I can work with your practitioners as part of your care team. My scope of practice is focused on the diet, lifestyle and mindset shifts that will help you feel your best.

  • My payment structure is a monthly fee with a minimum 3 month commitment. This includes the intake, 60 minutes of weekly check-ins and communication through my practice management app in-between sessions. I may also monitor your food journal, create new practices and tasks, make diet and supplement recommendations and anything else that might support your progress.

  • I’ve had clients call me their “professional hype woman” and I am genuinely excited to be doing this work. I love finding creative solutions to common problems and digging deep to find that ‘aha’ moment. I have by no means figured it all out but that gives me the grace and empathy to guide you through this process and support you along the way. 

    Much of my training and certification was centered around how to get people to start or stop doing something that affects their health. But what I have found is that many of you are already doing so much and need support and clarity to know what to focus on.
